Paul McIntyre Royston
Paul's passion is to create and enable change. Raising support for a new Central Library for Calgary is an incredible project that will truly alter the city's landscape. Paul's past work includes Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Foundation, the University of Waterloo and Katimavik.
Brent is inspired by the Public Library’s ability to help all Calgarians to achieve their potential. Brent believes in the power of possibilities and that the Library Foundation is at a unique time to lead in building a great city. His past work experience includes science centres, museums, and national partnership development at Imagine Canada.
Joan loves challenges and is excited about being on this Foundation team to see the New Central Library become reality. Joan has worked in the CEO’s Office at CPL for the past several years but her checkered past includes everything from radio DJ and cemetery worker to legal assistant.
Barbara has fond childhood memories of visiting her neighbourhood library and discovering a treasure trove of Nancy Drew mystery novels. Fast forward to today when libraries are centres for lifelong learning and community conversation. Barbara is honoured to join the Calgary Public Library Foundation fundraising team for the New Central Library. Barbara believes that community support for Calgary's public libraries is the tipping point for unleashing the creative learning potential of future readers.
Erin is inspired by the Calgary Public Library's profound ability to enhance the quality of life of hundreds of thousands of Calgarians through life-long learning resources and programming. Erin is delighted to be apart of a dynamic Foundation team whose mission is to raise the profile of the Library as a cause for all Calgarians to invest their time, energy and money towards. Her past employers includes the Calgary Herald and Century 21 The Professionals.
Christine grew up in Calgary and has been a passionate supporter of the Calgary Public Library since discovering Dr. Seuss! Christine is a seasoned financial services professional who is determined to support the Foundation’s goal of ensuring the citizens of Calgary have the best public Library in the world. Prior to joining the Calgary Public Library Foundation, Christine worked for RBC Investor Services, Royal Trust and RBC Bank.
Gloria is proud to contribute her creative and detail oriented skills in graphic design to the Calgary Public Library Foundation. She is a lover of art, musicals and a self professed "gleek".
Tracy is excited to be a part of the Calgary Public Library Foundation. Born and raised in Vancouver, Tracy found herself in Calgary for school. As a recent graduate from the University of Calgary, Tracy has found her new home in Calgary and at the Calgary Public Library Foundation. She is very excited to work with our talented team.
As a born and raised Calgarian, Rachael grew up visiting the Library and continues to have a voracious appetite for reading. Rachael is delighted to join the team at the Library Foundation and contribute to an institution that affects the lives of so many Calgarians.
Lori is the Foundation’s data detective, completing prospect research and data analysis to support the Add In Campaign. She has been seconded part time from her position as Management Support Librarian at the Calgary Public Library to fulfill this role.
