Just finished watched season 1 and 2 of great big c. Despite the serious subject matter, the trials and depth to the characters are refreshing and greatly entertaining. Worth it alone to view the character of Andrea played by 'precious' and the manic brother who's character is strangely like dr. House! A winner! If you dont laugh....we'll... Another winner and surprise: 'episodes' from show time starring Matt Leblanc with a spoof on the friends character, Joey! Once you get past the grey hair and swearing, you will find the British terms and sayings hilarious!

I've been borrowing a BBC series of DVDs to watch this summer. "New Tricks" is a great TV show involving retired police who are brought back to work at the Met in order to solve cold cases. The characters are hilarious and the mysteries are very good indeed. I'm waiting for the 3rd season to arrive at my branch. Looking forward to continuing with this summer viewing.
