Fanciers Breeder Referral List: Lists more than 1600 pedigreed cat breeders in over 20 countries. Search by breed, location, cattery or keyword.

Naming your Dog/Cat: A great site for people having difficulty finding the perfect name for their dog. An alphabetical list makes choosing easy. A link to the sister site for cat names.

Vetinfo: Veterinary information. Focuses on feline and canine veterinary information with encyclopedias for each. Clear and easy to use indexes. A wide variety of medical and behavioral topics are covered.

Assistant Animals

Canine Companions for Independence: A non-profit organization providing disabled individuals with specially trained dogs to assist them with daily life. Links are provided to regional offices, eligibility and instructions for obtaining a trained dog.

Delta Society: the human-animal connection: A non-profit organization, promotes animals helping individuals improve their health, independence and quality of life.

Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc: A non-profit organization with schools in California and Oregon which provides guide dogs and training in their use to visually impaired people in the U.S. and Canada. Includes information on guide dog training, puppy raising, and breeding. Also has a calendar of events, career and job opportunities.
