• Alberta Playwrights Network: a good source for information on Canadian plays and playwriting

• Doollee: A guide to modern playwrights and plays. The site also includes information on characters, theatres, literary agents, publishers and other useful links.

• Dramatists Play Service: the catalogue contains over 2,000 titles and can be searched by cast size as well as title, keyword and author

• Playwrights Guild of Canada (formerly Playwrights Union of Canada) : includes a searchable catalogue of Canadian plays and biographical information on Canadian playwrights

• Samuel French : a classic source of published scripts for theatre groups
