How it works:

Every week beginning June 12th we’ll post a series of challenges — all you have to do is complete one each week to be eligible for the grand prize draw. One will always be a reading challenge; the others will let you show off your creative side. Register today and we’ll send you an email when the contest begins.


  • Grand prize: $250, $150, and $75 gift cards to Cadillac Fairview malls (Chinook & Market Mall)
  • Weekly prizes: Free books and $25 gift cards – 12 winners every week!

The Calgary Public Library has a very useful online program that is available to all who have a library card. It is called ed2Go!

Ed2Go offers a wide range of highly interactive courses that you can take entirely over the Internet. All of the courses are free, and led by expert instructors. Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month. So if you looking to enter the publishing world, write a book, needing to know about business or finance take a look at ed2Go today!
